Moonwalk Inc., providers of large-scale data management solutions, and
Messaging Architects, specialists in risk management for enterprise email,
announced they will partner to offer
Moonwalk's enterprise data management system as part of the M+Archive email
archiving and legal discovery solution.
With this partnership, Messaging Architects continues to deliver on its
vision of providing robust, feature-rich, and easy-to-use products that
ensure a stable and secure corporate GroupWise environment.
"The combination of Messaging Architects' M+Archive product
and Moonwalk's advanced storage management solutions will provide all
our clients with a powerful and scalable Information Lifecycle
Management (ILM) solution for Novell GroupWise environments. The
growing regulations governing email storage have made ILM a requirement
for virtually any project," explained Pierre Chamberland, CEO of
Messaging Architects.
According to Gartner, compliance requirements will account for
almost 50% of investment in content and business process management
systems in the coming years. Information Lifecycle Management (ILM)
solutions improve the scalability and manageability of these
ever-growing storage infrastructures.
"M+Archive is without a doubt one of the most powerful email
archiving, storage, and retention solution for GroupWise,” said Peter
Harvey, Moonwalk CEO. Users will now be able to extend M+Archive’s
capabilities to also enforce automated policies that facilitate
compliance with file storage, retention, access, and migration - all
acting directly at the file object level, across any type of tiered
storage. Seldom accessed messages and attachments can be readily
migrated to less expensive storage (e.g., ATA/RAID, NAS, etc.)
resources or to write-once archival media.
